Upcoming Projects
Exploration that builds lasting value for local communities
In addition to the Copper-Cobalt Domes Project, Lobito Resources is developing a number of projects in partnership with local communities and traditional leaders. They include:

Project 1: Gemstones: mine to market, in Zambia
We are evaluating and planning the commercialisation of a new Zambian gemstone deposit, with a view to forming a joint venture with the local community to develop a modern, mine-to-market business. Mining, processing, promotion and distribution would all stay in Zambia. Discussions with seed investors and relevant regulatory bodies are underway.
Estimated: Q1 2027
Project 2: Cement for a growing region
Mining expansion and Lobito Corridor infrastructure are driving strong demand for cement across the region, yet North-Western Province has no large-scale producer. In partnership with a local chiefdom, we are evaluating a limestone deposit with a view to developing a cement plant built to modern, lower-carbon environmental standards. Discussions with seed investors and relevant regulatory bodies are underway.
Estimated: Q1 2027
Project 3: Small-scale copper and gold
We hold a selection of small-scale copper and gold prospects across Zambia. Discussions are ongoing to help several chiefdoms end illegal mining on their land and build a formal, licensed small-scale and artisanal mining sector that benefits their communities. Discussions with seed investors and relevant regulatory bodies are underway.
Estimated: Q1 2027
